How We Work
Organizations often reach a point where existing HR and workforce systems no longer support the way the organization operates or where it is going. E/E helps organizations step back, understand what is happening, determine what is needed, and build practical systems for moving forward.
Your organization has grown, and its systems need to catch up. E/E Business Solutions gets you there with one approach: Assess, Identify, Develop, Implement, Strengthen.
We aim to close the gap and build the capacity of your organization to keep moving once we're done.
ASSESS
Understand the current environment. Depending on scope, review organizational structure/reporting, positions/workforce capacity, compensation, job descriptions, recruitment/onboarding, performance management, career development, policies/documentation, employee lifecycle processes, workforce data, and relevant organizational materials. Not every project requires review of every area.
IDENTIFY
Determine gaps, inconsistencies, unclear responsibilities, workforce needs, structural issues, and priorities. Distinguish what is working, what needs strengthening/redesign, what does not exist yet, and what should be addressed now versus later. Solutions should fit the organization's size, resources, workforce, funding, and stage of development.
DEVELOP
Research, design, and develop the structures, systems, processes, recommendations, documentation, and tools identified within scope. Deliverables may include organizational structures/charts, workforce plans, compensation research/benchmarking, salary structures/ranges, job structures/descriptions, recruitment/interview tools, onboarding, performance systems, employee check-ins, career pathways/ladders/lattices, policies/procedures, handbook infrastructure, employee lifecycle processes, findings/recommendations, and implementation plans.
IMPLEMENT
Where included in scope, support leadership and staff in moving newly developed systems into practice through implementation planning, communication, process documentation, rollout support, knowledge transfer, training related to newly developed tools/processes, practical adjustments, and project coordination. Implementation support must be defined within the engagement and is not unlimited ongoing support.
DEVELOP
Leave the organization with appropriate documentation, tools, systems, structures, recommendations, knowledge, and greater internal capacity to continue the work.
Scope Around The Organization
Every organization has different needs. E/E does not assume that every organization needs every capability or service.
We tailor the scope of each engagement based on:
Organizational Need → Work Required → Desired Deliverables → Available Resources & Funding → Implementation Needs
This helps us determine the appropriate scope, timeline, deliverables, implementation support, and consulting structure for each organization.
For grant-funded engagements, we align the consulting scope with the funded objectives, milestones, deliverables, timeline, and available budget to ensure the work is focused, practical, and achievable.
